Situated in the Dee Valley near Wrexham, Wynnstay Hall Estate was once the principal seat for one of the most powerful families in Welsh history - the Watkin Williams Wynns.
One of the main features of the Estate are the Grade I Listed Gardens, which were laid out by Lancelot Capability Brown - probably the countrys greatest landscape gardener and architect. The gardens are Grade I listed, and all works have been undertaken in conjunction with CADW (the Welsh historic monuments agency) to ensure the gardens retained their historic integrity. Brown also designed the Temple Dairy, an imposing property which overlooks the Pleasure Garden with a stone pedimented portico of six Doric columns, facing south to take maximum advantage of the aspect.

As part of the estates restoration, original walkways in the pleasure garden and the walled kitchen garden have been re-laid for all the residents to enjoy.
